
Epic Beef Nacho Supreme

Tip: These nachos have around 400-500 calories per serving depending on toppings and portion size. They’re perfect for a fun dinner, party snack, or game day treat! Add extra toppings like sour cream, guacamole, or jalapeños for more flavor.
Ingredients:
Taco seasoning (or 1 packet of store-bought taco seasoning)
1 pound ground beef
1/2 yellow onion, diced
2 bags tortilla chips (16 ounces each)
1 can refried beans
16 ounces shredded cheese of choice (cheddar and Monterey Jack recommended)
3 roma tomatoes, diced
2 to 3 green onions, sliced
Instructions:
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Step 2:
In a skillet, brown the ground beef and diced onions over medium-high heat until the beef is fully cooked, about 8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Step 3:
Return the beef to the skillet and sprinkle with taco seasoning.
Add 3/4 cup of water, stir to combine, and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes until most of the liquid evaporates.
Step 4:
While the beef is cooking, lay a generous layer of tortilla chips on two baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
Step 5:
Spoon refried beans over the chips, dividing it between the two pans. The beans may be thick, but just add spoonfuls over the chips, and they will spread as they heat.
Step 6:
Spoon half of the seasoned ground beef mixture over each pan of chips.
Step 7:
Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly on top of each pan.
Step 8:
Bake in the preheated oven at 400°F for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 9:
Remove from the oven and top with the diced tomatoes and sliced green onions.
Step 10:
Serve immediately while the nachos are hot and cheesy!
Notes:
