- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup (240ml) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
For the Jell-O Layers:
- 3 packages (3 oz each) flavored Jell-O (choose vibrant Easter colors, like strawberry, lime, and orange, or your favorite flavors)
- 2 ½ cups boiling water
- 2 cups cold water
- 1/4 cup cold water (for setting Jell-O layers)
For Garnish:
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Spring-themed candies (like jelly beans, marshmallow chicks, or chocolate eggs)
- Fresh fruit (like sliced strawberries or blueberries)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Crust
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, cinnamon (if using), and melted butter. Mix well until the crumbs are evenly coated with the butter.
- Press the crumb mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust. Use the back of a spoon or your fingers to pack it tightly.
- Refrigerate the crust for about 30 minutes to set and firm up.
Step 2: Make the Creamy Filling
- In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar and continue mixing until the filling is smooth and well-combined.
- In a separate small bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until everything is well incorporated and fluffy.
- Spread the creamy filling evenly into the chilled graham cracker crust, smoothing the top with a spatula. Return the pie to the refrigerator while you prepare the Jell-O layers.
Step 3: Make the Jell-O Layers
- In separate bowls, dissolve each of the Jell-O packets in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
- After the Jell-O is dissolved, add 1/2 cup of cold water to each bowl to help it cool down quickly.
