Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge

Tip: This creamy peanut butter fudge has about 150-200 calories per square, depending on portion size. It’s a rich, indulgent treat perfect for special occasions, parties, or when you’re craving something sweet. Store it in an airtight container to keep it fresh!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter

2 cups light brown sugar

5 ounces half & half

1 cup creamy peanut butter

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions:
Prepare the Pan:

Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.

Mix Powdered Sugar:

Add the powdered sugar to a large mixing bowl and set aside.

Make the Fudge Base:

In a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

Stir in the brown sugar and half & half. Bring to a boil.

Once boiling, let it sit untouched for 1 minute and 45 seconds.

Add Peanut Butter and Vanilla:

Remove the saucepan from heat.

Stir in the creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Combine with Powdered Sugar:

Pour the hot peanut butter mixture into the bowl with powdered sugar.

Beat with an electric mixer until completely smooth and well combined.

Set the Fudge:

Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan.

Let it sit at room temperature until completely cooled and set.

Serve and Enjoy:

Once cooled, cut the fudge into squares and enjoy this creamy treat!

Notes:
Saving Energy: This recipe uses the stovetop for melting and cooking, making it relatively quick and energy-efficient. It's a great no-bake treat that doesn’t require much time to prepare.

Health Benefits: While this peanut butter fudge is rich in flavor, it is also high in sugar and fat, so enjoy in moderation. Peanut butter provides protein, but due to the sugar and butter, it’s a calorie-dense dessert. Consider using a natural peanut butter or reducing the sugar for a lighter version.
