Instructions:

  1. Prepare the donuts:

    • Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits.
    • Use a small round cutter or a bottle cap to cut a hole in the center of each biscuit to form the donut shape. You can also just cut them in half for mini donuts.
  2. Heat the oil:

    • Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium heat. The oil is ready when a small piece of dough dropped into it sizzles.
  3. Fry the donuts:

    • Once fried, use tongs to remove them and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.

    • While the donuts are still warm, dip them into the sugar mixture, coating them evenly.
